Jess & Shelby | Valentine's Day Shoot | Palos Verdes, CA

After what seems to be YEARS of planning photoshoots together, my good friend Jess and I finally set out to take some mommy/daughter photos! Jess has been my #1 fan since day one, and I once took some quickie shots of her and Shelby long long ago when I was first starting out! Today was a beautiful February day and the weather was perfect for photos. We headed out to the Rocketship Park in Palos Verdes...

I went crazy at Wal-Mart the other day and bought all kinds of pink and red and heart-shaped things, and couldn't think of anything better than a valentine's day photoshoot to put them to use. Check out these adorable photos!

Sunny | Family Photographer | Harbor City, CA

Let me just begin by saying how absolutely adorable this little boy is! This photo shoot took place at the Harbor City Railroad Museum for Sunny's fourth birthday invitations... Mom brought him dressed up as Batman in honor of his batman themed party. Seriously, how cute is that!?

What I loved most is that Sunny was super shy at first, but after some funny faces and funny jokes he totally let loose and was up for anything! At times I would get carried away with the "awwww, how cute!!!" so much that it would make him blush, hehehe... Either way, I loved this entire session! It further reinforced my favoritism towards family shots!

Baby Matthew | Family Photography | Harbor City, CA

There's nothing like being able to experience a life-long friend starting a family of their own. It takes you back to the times when life was worry-free and innocent... It makes you think of how two young girls never even thought this far ahead in life. Leslie has been one of my best friends ever since I can remember... I have had the privilege of watching her grow up and mature, and now, start a family of her own.

This shoot was done when baby Matthew was only 15 days old. Isn't he a cutie? He's going to be such a heartbreaker when he grows up! I can't wait to be there as he grows older... and take more pictures of him. :)
