On a lovely summer day, Merari and Luis said their "I Do's" at the elegant "The Grand" in Long Beach, CA.

Despite the hot weather, the many emotions, time constraints or anything else you can imagine goes on during a wedding, they both smiled and looked radiant and we got some amazing photos of their special day.  Enjoy!

Jeanette and Oscar | Wedding | Long Beach, CA

I met Jeanette in the ninth grade... I didn't know her much, but I knew that she was a super sweet girl and always pleasant to be around with. I was very happy for her when I heard she was getting married... but I was stoked when she asked us to be her photographers! It's really an honor to be a part of an old friend's wedding... and an even bigger one to be able to document one of the most important days of their lives.

Now, the story of Jeanette and Oscar is truly an amazing one. They were together for 6 years and patiently waited until he could give her the wedding she deserved. I had never met Oscar until we started discussing wedding plans, and he really is a great guy! I know that both of them will truly live "happily ever after" =)

If only the photos could show just how nervous Oscar was! I was trying so hard to get him to calm down... I guess it's just inevitable, huh?




We made plans to get Jeanette and Oscar together before the ceremony to get some shots of them together before things got hectic. BUT, on this day things didn't go as planned... However, our early arrival gave us plenty of time alone to get some beatiful bridal portraits.

The ceremony was oh-so-sweet. Filled with love and emotion.




After the ceremony we headed out for some shots with the wedding party. So much fun!

It's so cute how they couldn't stop giggling... I guess it didn't help much that Vanessa was goofing off and making them laugh at the same time =P
