My First Promo Video!!!

So I borrowed a video camera for a short time and my boyfriend and I were doing some practicing today... Here's is a little video we came up with. I'm so proud of him! He shot and edited the whole thing... Take a look!

Karla | Senior | Wilmington, CA

Remember the feeling right before graduating high school? That feeling that you have just accomplished the biggest task of your life, knowing that you can do anything and that so many things are yet to come?  Well, multiply that feeling X 100 and that's how Karla felt at this very moment!!! Knowing that not only did she manage to graduate from high school with high honors, an acceptance to one of the best schools in California, but also with a college degree!!! (I know what you're thinking, "are you kidding me!!?!")... Yes!!! My beautiful cousin Karla recieved her A.A. in Liberal Arts just weeks before graduating High School.  Crazy right!?



And not only is she incredibly smart, she is gorgeous! Geez, Karla, how do you do it all?



We decided to shoot some photos in an empty field behind her school.  She went to a small charter school so she made some very close friends during the four years.  She told me stories of how she and her friends would sneak into the field to hang out... How precious are those memories!



...and I never get over the fact that she has perfect hair... perfect eyebrows... skin... everything!







This one below is one of my favorites EVER!



Don't be fooled by the pre-algebra book, which happened the be the only book I had in my car.  This smart cookie had passed beyond college level calculus!





I wanted to capture these shots of her so that she can forever hold in her heart how she felt in this special time of her life.







There's that smile... The one that shows just how happy she is that for the moment it is all OVER and she can finally relax and breathe!!! I'm so proud of you my Karla! I know you will go incredibly far!!!

Wendy | Portrait Shoot | Carson, CA

There is just something about summer that just makes me want to go outside, grab whoever is around, and just take pictures!!! The lighting is gorgeous, the weather is perfect, and in this case, a model this cute was bound to give me some amazing photos!

Wendy is my 16 year old cousin... I took advantage of the pretty day and did her hair, makeup, dressed her up and headed to my front yard for a mini shoot!

Anyone who knows me knows I'm an animal FREAK!  We let our pets join in the shoot... We gotta admit, Bailey definitely stole the show in these shots... Cutest dog ever!









...the cats wanted to join in on the fun too ;)







Ohhhh, to be 16 again...





After the sun set we headed inside for some cute shots on my bed... I don't normally shoot indoors with flash so this was a nice change!
